Since Jyoti means "radiance" and lingam is the "Image or Sign" of Shiva, the term "Jyotirlingam" alludes to the Radiant Sign of The Almighty Shiva. There are twelve Jyotirlinga jyortilinga in India.

Parali Vaijanath is a stone building on a tiny hill that is surrounded by a wall that protects it on all sides. Aundha Nagnath is said to be the eighth of the twelve jyotirlinga temples. This temple, according to mythology, is older than the Mahabharata. Grishneshwar/Grushneshwar is the last of the 12 jyotirlinga.

The first temple on our list was the majestic Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga. Nearly 30 km from Nashik, there was a magnificent temple constructed out of black stone, next to the Brahmagiri mountain and the river Gautami. As we entered the temple among the masses of pilgrims arriving from all around India, 'Har Har Mahadev' yells and serene smiles welcomed us. According to the temple priest, this is where Lord Shiva, Parvati, Lakshmi, and Saraswati all reside.
Our next stop, after crossing the Sahyadri mountain range, was the Bhimshankar Jyotirlinga near Pune. On the banks of the Bhima River is where it is situated. Even the seemingly insignificant task of purchasing the goods required from the vendors stationed outside the temple to make offerings to Shiva (in the form of "Ardhnareeshwara") made me feel incredibly joyful.
We carried on from there to the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, which is located near Aurangabad and 20 km from Daulatabad on the banks of an ancient pond called "Shivalay" in the Maharashtrian settlement of Verul. In contrast to the other Jyotirlingas, the Grishneshwar Temple's Lingam was built so that the water flows eastward after the Abhishekam, and I had witnessed this firsthand that day while taking part in temple rituals.
The oldest Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra is located in the Aundha Nagnath Temple, where it was finally our turn to travel. The most remarkable feature of the temple was the Sanctum, which located in the basement, where we had to descend to worship Lord Nagnath.
Our next stop was the Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga, which is located in the Beed district of Maharashtra and derives its name from the profusion of medicinal plants that surround it. I felt as though the atmosphere was healing my soul, despite the fact that I was fatigued from worldly worries and the fact that I had to go home after this breathtakingly wonderful vacation during which I not only experienced the joys of travel but also a oneness with Shiva that I had never previously experienced. I was surprised to see that everyone was touching the Lingam because generally it is not allowed. But it is stated that by touching the Lingam here at the Parli Vaijnath temple, where Lord Shiva is revered as "Vaidyanath," the healing process is aided.
There are a total of five Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra. These Lord Shiva shrines have immense religious significance and are visited by a large number of devotees who are seeking spiritual blessings and calm.
Somnath, Nageshwar, Vaidyanath, Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Kashi Vishwanath, Kedarnath, Rameshwaram, and Mallikarjuna are the Jyotirlings located outside of Maharashtra.
When the cost of the 12-Jyotirlinga tour is calculated for each individual, it amounts to roughly Rs. 60,000.
The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra is the smallest among the 12 Jyotirlingas in India.
The Aundha Nagnath Temple was rebuilt by Ahilyabai Holkar.
Aunga Nagnath, Bhimashankar, Trimabakeshwar, Grishneshwar, and Parali Vajinath are the five jyotirlingas in Maharashtra. jyotirlingainmaharashtra.com excursions from Delhi to the five Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra are available.
