Detailed 12-Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure to Ujjain – Mahakaleshwar Darshan
Board train or flight from your home city to Ujjain (or Indore, 55 km away). Our representative receives you at the station. Transfer to hotel, freshen up. Evening visit to Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga — one of the most powerful of all twelve Jyotirlingas, located on the banks of the holy Shipra River. Witness the grand Sandhyaarti.
Day 2 – Bhasma Aarti – Ujjain Sightseeing – Departure to Dwarka
Wake up at 4:00 AM for the legendary Bhasma Aarti — a pre-dawn ritual with sacred ash performed exclusively at Mahakaleshwar and nowhere else among all Jyotirlingas. After breakfast, visit Harsiddhi Temple, Ram Ghat, Kal Bhairav Temple, and Sandipani Ashram. Afternoon departure by train towards Dwarka (overnight journey).
Day 3 – Dwarka – Dwarkadheesh Temple & Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
Arrive in Dwarka — one of India's four sacred Char Dhams. Check in and proceed for darshan at the magnificent Dwarkadheesh Temple. Afternoon, visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga (17 km from Dwarka) — the 10th Jyotirlinga featuring a 25-metre tall Shiva statue. Also visit Gomti Ghat and Rukmini Devi Temple.
Day 4 – Dwarka to Somnath – Somnath Jyotirlinga Darshan
Morning darshan at Dwarkadheesh. Depart for Somnath (230 km, 4 hours). Somnath Jyotirlinga — the first and oldest of all twelve Jyotirlingas — stands magnificently on the Arabian Sea coast. Attend the spectacular sunset Aarti and the famous sound-and-light show in the evening.
Day 5 – Somnath Sightseeing – Departure to Mumbai / Nashik
Morning darshan at Somnath. Visit Prabhas Patan Museum, Bhalka Tirth, and Triveni Sangam. Afternoon departure towards Mumbai or Nashik by overnight train or flight (approx. 900 km). Our team assists with all travel arrangements.
Day 6 – Arrival Mumbai / Nashik – Rest & Sightseeing
Arrive in Mumbai or Nashik. Check in to hotel and rest after the Gujarat journey. Optional half-day visit to Nashik city and the sacred Godavari ghats. Prepare for Trimbakeshwar darshan the next morning.
Day 7 – Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Darshan
Early morning departure to Trimbakeshwar (28 km from Nashik). Unique among all Jyotirlingas, the Shiva Linga here has three faces representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The sacred Godavari River originates from the Brahmagiri hills right beside this temple. Complete darshan and Rudrabhishek with our Panditji. Evening Sandhyaarti.
Day 8 – Trimbakeshwar Mangal Aarti → Shirdi → Grishneshwar
Early Mangal Aarti at Trimbakeshwar. Depart for Shirdi (130 km) for Sai Baba darshan. Proceed to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (100 km from Shirdi) near Ellora Caves, Aurangabad — the 12th and final Jyotirlinga and the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in India. Evening darshan and hotel check-in.
Day 9 – Grishneshwar Darshan – Ellora Caves – Aurangabad
Morning darshan at Grishneshwar. Visit the spectacular Ellora Caves (UNESCO World Heritage Site) — 34 rock-cut temples spanning Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions carved between the 6th and 11th centuries. Also visit Aurangabad Caves.
Day 10 – Aurangabad to Bhimashankar
Depart for Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga (230 km from Aurangabad, 4.5 hours). Scenic drive through the Sahyadri mountains. Arrive at this serene hill-top temple nestled within the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary. Check in and attend evening Sandhyaarti.
Day 11 – Bhimashankar Darshan – Departure to Home City
Early morning Mangal Aarti at Bhimashankar (4:00 AM). Complete darshan at this sacred Jyotirlinga in the Sahyadri hills. After breakfast, depart for Mumbai (190 km / 4.5 hrs) or Pune (110 km / 3 hrs). Board train or flight back home.
