Brief Information About the Char Dham Yatra

Rameshwaram

Rameshwar Tirtha is situated on the sea shore in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu. Which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here Lord Shiva is worshiped in the form of Linga. The Linga is considered amongst one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. It's a lovely island shaped like a conch shell, with the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal all around it.

Jaggannath Puri Dham

This is a temple of Vaishnava sect, which is dedicated to Shri Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the Dwaparyug. This temple has three main deities, Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra. This Tirtha is one of the 7 holy places mentioned in the Puranas.

Dwarka Dham

Dwarka Puri, situated on the seashore at the western tip of Gujarat, is considered one of the Char Dhams. This pilgrimage is dedicated to the ultimate prestigious deity, Lord Krishna.

Yamunotri

Gangotri

Kedarnath
